Monkey Bars, a purveyor of eco-friendly products for children and the home, asked Ignition Architecture to revitalize their outdated storefront by creating a modern design that would incorporate recycled materials to reinforce the company’s dedication to sustainability.

Ignition created a unique concept, composed of eco-friendly materials and eye-catching design elements that supported my brand and exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly grateful to Ignition for guiding me through the process – ultimately leaving me worry-free from design through construction.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking to generate buzz for their business.
And, I can’t wait to have them design my next home!
Heather Rider, Owner, Monkey Bars Clothing Store

Our design includes a new aluminum and frosted glass exterior canopy with integrated, projecting signage to attract pedestrians. The upper façade is a pattern of reclaimed wood slats, held off the face of the building by a custom aluminum frame. Concealed LED lighting illuminates the orange-painted wall behind the slatwork. The reclaimed wood pattern folds under to cover the ceilings of the entry and two adjacent display windows. Eye-catching pops of blue are added at the powder-coated metal work to support the Monkey Bars brand – including at a bold and playful laser-cut monkey who climbs the new façade.
